The 5th annual Hershey 10K presented by Dominion Dental will be on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 7:30 AM.
The Hershey 10K presented by Dominion Dental provides runners the unique opportunity to run through Hershey The Sweetest Place On Earth! Participants will begin and end their experience at Hersheypark Stadium and have the opportunity to run through Hersheypark and past many attractions, including Fahrenheit, Wildcat, and Skyrush!
Race registration fee includes: race registration, a long-sleeve tech t-shirt, bib with timing device, post-race refreshments and a finisher’s medal. A portion of the proceeds benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central PA, Aaron’s Acres, Pennsylvania Family Support Alliance and the Frank J. O'Connell Memorial Scholarship Fund.
Families can get the ultimate Hershey experience this April with many attractions and events available. Hersheypark*, Hershey Gardens, Hershey’s Chocolate World Attraction, The Hershey Story Museum and so much more will be open all weekend! The Hershey 10K benefits the following Central Pennsylvania charities:
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central PA provides comfort and care to children and their families through Ronald McDonald House, its cornerstone program, and by making grants to other local not-for-profit organizations to help children in need. RMHC also funds the Ronald McDonald Family Room®, Hospitality Cart, and family lounges at Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital.
Aaron’s Acres provides individuals with special needs ages 5-21 year-round therapeutically based age-appropriate recreational programs directed by specially trained and certified staff in a supportive environment that enhances socialization and communication skills. Emotional, educational, and recreational support is offered for the entire family.
Pennsylvania Family Support Alliance protects children by teaching citizens to recognize and report child abuse and neglect by providing information, educational materials, and programs that promote positive parenting.
Frank J. O’Connell Memorial Scholarship provides funding for students at Harrisburg Area Community College with a 2.5 GPA and unmet financial needs.
